This site is dedicated to the anime Fruits Basket. Although it is still under construction, I hope you will enjoy this site.

Plot (not much spoilers)

Fruits Basket is a really funny XD anime about friendship, loyalty and acceptance.

Tohru's mother was killed in a car crash. Thinking that she will burden her elderly grandfather if he had to support her school fees and living expenses,  Tohru decides to work for her tuition fees herself and to live in a tent by herself ( while the house where her grandpa lives is being renovated). 

One day, Tohru comes accross a house near where she lives. It turned out that Yuki Sohma, the 'Prince' of her school, lived there with his older cousin Shigure Sohma. 

The Sohmas invited Tohru to live with them, and so she does. As the story goes on, she learns that the Sohmas are cursed - when hugged by the opposite gender or under a great deal of stress, they turn into an animal of the zodiac.

Tohru, very impossibly kind and considerate, accepts the Sohmas for who they are. More and more members of the Sohma family turns up, and the story continues about how Tohru makes friends with all of them.
